Kenneth Williams, Center Director, Old Dominion Job Corps Center

Mr. Kenneth Williams is the Center Director at Old Dominion Job Corps Center in Monroe, Virginia. At the early age of 18 years old, Mr. Williams joined the United States Army and served for 22 years until he retired.

Mr. Williams earned his Master’s Degree in Adult Education and Gerontology from the University of Central Oklahoma; his Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a minor in Substance Abuse Studies and Criminal Justice; and his Associates Degree in Counseling and Social Work from Rose State College.

Mr. Williams has over 16 years of Job Corps experience, where he started his Job Corps career as a Counseling Supervisor and progressively held positions as Center Protection Manager, Career Development Manager, Director of Administration and Deputy Director of Administrative Services, prior to his current position as Center Director.

As the Center Director, he is responsible for the daily operations of a multi-million dollar youth service program, providing academic education, career technical training in a residential setting, serving 305 students.

Mr. Williams has over 35 years of management and leadership experience and prides himself most of all in his ability to effectively relate to the students we serve. His leadership is centered on providing quality customer service to the students at Old Dominion Job Corps Center.
