Omoniyi Amoran, Center Director, Pinellas County Job Corps Center

With over 20 years of Job Corps experience, Mr. Amoran is the Center Director at the Pinellas job County job Corps Center where he is responsible for the overall operations of the center, staff and students.

Mr. Amoran started his career with job Corps as a resident advisor and he has ascended through the ranks and has served as Center Standards and Incentive Manager, Residential Manager, Training Director and Deputy Center Director. He has served as a Center Director for more than 10 years. Providing a safe and secure learning environment, staff accountability and always outing the students first serves as the foundation of his management style. “Life isn’t about the a storm but learning how to dance in the rain” is a common quotation of Mr. Amoran when dealing with student issues. It is teaching our students that they are resilient , hardworking , adaptable and willing to face any challenges as they work towards their career goals.

Mr. Amoran earned an Master’s Degree from the university of Florida and a Certificate in management from the Robert Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico , Albuquerque, New Mexico.
